      Rwanda

      Some cases of the Marburg virus have been confirmed in Kigali in Rwanda.

      Malaria

      The malaria prevention recommendation for Central- and South America, Africa, Myanmar, Pakistan and Afghanistan and their malaria maps have been updated. Information on the most dominant malaria species (if not P. falciparum) is added.

      Measles

      Adjustment advice Department of Care Flanders:

      • There are no more restrictions on vaccinating children under 18 years of age.
      • Children travelling to a country where measles is present may again receive an early second dose of the vaccine. Adults are still temporarily not being vaccinated against measles.

      Measles: countries with an outbreak

      The list of countries with measles outbreaks has been updated. Early vaccination of young children is recommended.

      Polio

      The list of countries where polio vaccination is mandatory for some travellers has been updated.

      Oropouche

      There is a new sheet about oropouche.

      Mpox

      The information on Mpox has been updated.

      Measles

      Due to a shortage of measles vaccines, the Flanders Department of Health Care is requesting to temporarily
      - not to vaccinate adults
      - to limit childhood vaccination to 1 dose
      - to limit early vaccination to 1 dose

      Diarrhoea

      The guidelines of traveller’s diarrhoea have been updated.

      Rabies

      Rabies vaccine Rabipur® is available again in pharmacies.

      Breastfeeding and traveling

      There is a new informational sheet about breastfeeding and travelling.

      Dengue vaccination

      The dengue vaccination advice was updated.

      Congo (Democratic Republic)

      There is an increase in the number of cases of Mpox (monkeypox).

      South Sudan

      The yellow fever vaccination certificate is valid for a maximum of 10 years.

      Japanese encephalitis vaccination

      Due to supply problems, Ixiaro® is not available in pharmacies but the vaccine available in travel clinics.
