Latest update: - Authors: Mieke Croughs, Ula Maniewski

Citriodol (P-Menthane-3,8-diol, also called PMD) is a derivative of eucalyptus oil with an insect-repellent effect.

      The recommended concentration, is 20-25%.

This product can be safely used from the age of six months

According to the manufacturers, use is permitted during pregnancy, but there are few data available about this.

For young children and pregnant women, we recommend using repellents only if the other mosquito repellent measures cannot be applied sufficiently and washing it off when it is no longer needed.
